Because our lives are so infused with electronics, everyone – engineers, educators, entrepreneurs, students, and artists alike – can greatly benefit from learning more about them. Understanding how to read schematics, solder, program, and build circuits instills a unique understanding of the world we live in; not to mention, hacking and making with electronics is just plain fun! In Level 4 of Engineering and Entrepreneurship, we'll shift our focus to server-side software development and data persistence. We'll introduce students to the fundamentals of database design, using MySQL relational database to explore data design concepts including tables, keys, and joins. Students will create their own database, learn to use complex queries, and begin working on server-side code for their websites. learn more
