Katy Lee (7th grade) developed Rainbo Skyz, a hackable LED umbrella to brighten up your mood on a rainy day. She went on to present her project at Maker Faire Bay Area and won the Editor Choice Award for her work. Her umbrella was one of the most photographed projects showcased by young makers.
