Welcome to Byte Size Hacks!
Hello my name is Prayag Nambiar and I’m a sophomore in high school. Growing up as a kid I used to be fascinated with hacking and other cyber related topics. Over the last few months, I’ve realized that modern-day technology is built for consumption, not creation, and its complexity turns kids away from exploring fields like cybersecurity before they even start.

So, for the next year and a half, I am committing myself to learning the most I can about cybersecurity and create content relevant to high-schoolers.
At the moment, I’m brainstorming a few different project directions. I’m leaning toward a hardware-based project, potentially paired with smaller side projects or educational videos that I could share on YouTube or social media. I’ve also thought about combining hands-on building with cybersecurity research, or even working on something simple but impactful—like a custom keylogger that I could design to be educational, safe, and perhaps even marketable.

This blog is the first in a series where I’ll document my progress, thoughts, and everything I learn throughout the journey. I hope this inspires other students like me to explore cybersecurity—a field that started as a childhood fascination and is quickly becoming a real, exciting path for the future.
